Who is he? Ray Lewis - linebacker with the Baltimore Ravens and one of the NFL's best tacklers. He has been a Pro Bowl player four times, and is a part of the best defence in the NFL. Going to the Superbowl with the Ravens in the 2000-2001 season.
What did he do? Alledgedly, Lewis was in Atlanta to watch as the St. Louis Rams beat the Tennessee Titans in the Super Bowl. But at around 4 a.m. the next morning, after a nightclub emptied out, a fight occurred leaving Jacinth D. Baker, 21, and Richard D. Lollar, 24, bleeding from fatal knife wounds on the street. Lewis' limousine was riddled with bullets as it left the scene. Lewis was indicted on six counts of murder and aggravated assault as were Joseph Sweeting and Reginald "A.J." Oakley, who were allegedly with Lewis at the time.

Charged? Yep, Lewis and two friends, Joseph Sweeting and Reginald Oakley, were charged with murder, felony murder and aggravated assault in the stabbings of Richard Lollar and Jacinth Baker in the early-morning hours of Jan. 31.
Sentence? NFL star Ray Lewis pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor Monday under an agreement that drops murder charges in the stabbing deaths of two men outside a Super Bowl party. Lewis entered the plea before Judge Alice Bonner, who sentenced him to a year's probation under Georgia's first offender act. The NFL said Lewis might be fined but will not be suspended.
